Elissavet Papadopoulou

Elissavet Papadopoulou was born in Didymoteichos, northern Greece. She studied at the Law School of Komotini. She practised law which she left in order to become a judge. She resigned after six years. She works today at the State Legal Council.

Her works: Hotel Victoria (novella, 1995), Eastern Wind  (novel, 1997), Lies, candy and first-page news (novel, 2000), I’ve inherited all of mom’s friends (novel, 2004). She has contributed to the short story collections:  The keeper of souls (1999), Of our own loves (2001), Molotov cocktail (2003), Underground stories (2008).
