Aggeliki Nikolouli

Aggeliki Nikolouli was born in Pyrgos in the Peloponnese. She became a crime correspondent at an early age, and became the first woman police reporter in Greece. She has presented a missing persons programme on Greek TV since 1995; the consistently high viewing figures for “Light at the end of the tunnel” have sometimes reached 70%. She has played a significant role in solving eighteen murders. The Japanese researched similar programmes in 40 countries and chose “Light at the end of the tunnel” as outstanding and socially valuable. Aggeliki Nikolouli has won 22 awards from social institutions and the EU for her contributions, and has been included in the Guinness Book of World Records on two occasions.
