Mara Meimaridi

Mara Meimaridi has studied Literature, Anthrolopy and Psychology. She has worked as a tour guide and taken part in a number of archaeological digs. In 2000, she embarked on a new cycle of studies in Astrophysics and Cosmology. Her novel The witches of Smyrna was published in 2002, and is currently the best-selling Greek novel of all time, having sold over 380,000 copies. She followed this with Deste – Katina’s deck of cards, which reproduced an old deck of fortune-teller’s cards (2004), A first book of magic (2006) and the Attartic Cycle (2008).
