Kastaniotis Editions S.A was established in 1968 by Athanassios Kastaniotis, who is today the Chairman and Managing Director of the Publishing Company.

Eugenia Fakinou

Eugenia Fakinou was born in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1945. Her first novel, Astradeni, was published in 1982. She is one of the most enduringly popular Greek writers. In 2005 she won the Readers’ Award for her novel The Orleans Method, and in 2008 she was awarded the Greek National Book Award for her collection of short stories Garden ambitions.
