Kastaniotis Editions S.A was established in 1968 by Athanassios Kastaniotis, who is today the Chairman and Managing Director of the Publishing Company.

Stefanos Dandolos

Stefanos Dandolos was born in 1970 in Athens. He made his literary debut in 1996 with the novel September’s sleepwalkers. Next came the novels The Saints’ laughing stock (1997), And they handcuffed the birds (2000), Narcissists and Cannibals (2002), Nero – I, a god (2004), The boy at the peer (2007) and, also, the collection of novellas and short stories Love in two dream drops (1999). The fictional biography Nero – I, a god was translated in Italian and published in 2006 by E/O editions. His short stories have been included in anthologies and literary reviews abroad, while in 2008, he represented Greece at  the Young Writers’ World Festival which took place in Seoul, South Korea. In May 2009, he was awarded, in the presence of the president of the democracy, the Botsis Award for his literary contribution in prose.
